Agreed! Where is this desire to fight for the Mera Mera fruit going to come from? It just doesn’t seem like Luffy’s character to fight for a devil’s fruit based on sentimentalism. He’s not that kind of character…. Unless that was Ace’s treasure, there doesn’t seem to be any meaning behind it except how badly Flamingo underestimates him.
